Originally from Venezuela, Genesis is a graduate from the Arturo Michelena University (UAM) in Modern Languages with a major in Business. Having a Digital Marketing Diploma authorized by the Central University of Venezuela, she also manages and supports the world-wide Marketing Plan of Vanuatu Investment Migration Bureau – VIMB.
From VIMB’s London office Mark manages the development of both our governmental and commercial opportunities across the EMEA region.
His career began with the UK Government; including time in The Rt. Hon. Alan Clarke MP’s Private Office when he was the Minister of State for Defence Procurement. Following this, and the collapse of the Soviet Union, Mark was then part of the team instrumental in organising the UK’s support for Poland, Hungary and the Czech and Slovak Republics joining NATO as well as travelling extensively to build wider defence relations across the whole of Central and Eastern Europe.
A career in the Executive Search industry followed, during which Mark assumed a variety of roles of increasing importance, culminating in his co-founding of Elbrus Partners – a global financial markets search firm, with whom he is still a Partner, and which advises the Boards and C-Suite Executives of some of the world’s leading financial institutions on both their human capital and strategic growth opportunities.
Based primarily between Tokyo and London, his involvement with VIMB brings Mark full-circle to a role combining both government relations and commercial consultancy and we benefit from his extensive network of contacts built as a result of a thirty years’ plus track-record in international business.
In 2010 Mark was granted the Freedom of the City of London by the then Lord Mayor of London, Nicholas Anstee. This is an ancient honour afforded notable community figures, and is a tradition dating back to 1237.

As an entrepreneur from a young age by heart, he had his first business in the 4th grade.
“When I was in 4th grade, I wanted a Playstation 1. I took the typical route asking my parents if they would “please” buy me a console. The answer was no… I knew I had to take matters into my own hands if I was to be able to buy this incredible gaming machine that would keep me entertained for hours.
I managed to get hold of a container of Tamagotchi’s that have arrived in the ports of South Africa. At the age of 10, I negotiated with the owner and made my first ever contract “verbally” of course, to obtain 4 boxes of Tamagotchi’s as consignment stock. I would then later sell it at a profit and then pay the supplier for the stock. My parents were completely unaware of my business endeavours at the time. Fast forward 6 weeks later, I had my first PlayStation, and my parents asking if they could borrow money from me.”
At the age of 20, he was managing 3 provinces distribution channels for over 100 FMCG suppliers to 124 stores including managing the payroll for 67 staff members. He covered about 7500 km by car a month. He later worked with major FMCG companies like P&G and Mondelez International.
Originally from South Africa, he was recently recognized in 2021 by the Top Person Magazine as part of the top influential entrepreneurs in Africa. He is based between Africa and SouthEast Asia with planning to expand the markets in these key locations for the Vanuatu Investment Migration Bureau – VIMB.
As Chief Operating Officer of Vanuatu Investment Migration Bureau (VIMB), Daniel Agius oversees the company’s operations from our headquarters in Port Vila ensuring that all applications and post citizenship services are processed and delivered in an efficient and professional manner. Being a naturalized Citizen of Vanuatu, Daniel is our Government appointed Designated Agent through VIMB Services Limited. He also leads a large team to support all forms of post-Citizenship services such as company formations, bank account opening and other citizenship-related services.
Having lived in Vanuatu for over sixteen years, Daniel has built an esteemed reputation within the Vanuatu business community. As a Chartered Accountant, Daniel is Managing Director of Vanuatu’s leading professional services firms, iCOUNT Limited. In addition to finance, his professional experience also spans the hospitality, agriculture and property sectors. He is an advisor to investors in Vanuatu, auditor to key Vanuatu businesses – such as the National Airline Air Vanuatu, Airports Vanuatu and Northern Island Stevedoring Co. Ltd (NISCOL).
He is currently working closely with the Citizenship Commission to strengthen the fundamentals of the Citizenship program to ensure its longevity and its essential revenues to the Vanuatu government.
Daniel is originally from the Australia and a graduate of the Australian National University and is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand (CAANZ)
