Vanuatu Citizenship Application Process

Pre-Screening
Provide a scanned passport copy of the applicants above 16 years old to ensure they are eligible for the Citizenship Program. This step takes 2-3 days.

First Stage: Financial Due Diligence
A simple set of certified documents must be submitted to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) in Vanuatu. This stage takes 10-14 days.

Second Stage: Application and Bank Clearance
All remaining documents must be submitted along with the Second Stage payment. Once this stage is approved, you will receive an approval in principle letter. This stage takes 30-40 days.

The Oath Ceremony is held online. Once it is over, the passports and certificates are printed and sent to the desired location through courier (DHL). This process takes 7-10 business days.
