Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program
The Nauru ECRCP is a government-authorised citizenship by investment route established under the Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Act 2024 (No. 15 of 2024). It offers qualified applicants a secure second citizenship and a politically neutral alternative passport.
The program is open to most nationalities with no minimum stay, no in-country visit, and no residency requirement at any stage. VIMB manages your full application from onboarding to passport delivery.
All contributions are directed to the Nauru Treasury Fund, supporting climate adaptation, the Higher Ground Initiative, renewable energy infrastructure, and sustainable development across the island nation — one of the world's most climate-exposed countries.
Nauru Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Act 2024 (No. 15 of 2024), as amended by No. 50 of 2025 and Regulations No. 2 of 2026.
Transparent, Competitive Pricing
The Stage 1 application fee is paid upfront. The contribution to the Nauru Treasury Fund is due only after Approval in Principle is issued by the Nauru Program Office.
* Figures reflect government-mandated fees as at Q1 2026. The limited-time offer (USD 25,000 discount) is valid for applications filed on or before 30 June 2026. Document translation, apostille, and professional service fees are additional and discussed during onboarding.
Eight Steps to Your Nauru Citizenship
VIMB manages every stage of the application on your behalf — from initial eligibility assessment to passport delivery. No travel to Nauru is required at any point.
Begin Your Application
Start with a complimentary eligibility assessment — no commitment required.
VIMB conducts a confidential eligibility assessment to confirm suitability and advise on the optimal application structure, including family composition and dependent inclusion. No commitment is required at this stage.
VIMB guides you through the full document checklist — passport copies, criminal record certificates, source of funds, residential address proof, and completed application forms. All documents are reviewed before submission to the Nauru Program Office.
The Nauru Program Office conducts comprehensive due diligence in conjunction with external, independent, and specialised due diligence firms. VIMB coordinates all communications and any requests for additional information.
The Government of Nauru and Cabinet take the final decision on all applications. This is the highest level of governmental scrutiny of any CBI program — ensuring the integrity and credibility of the Nauru passport.
On successful completion of due diligence and Cabinet review, Approval in Principle is issued. Only at this point are the remaining application fees and contribution to the Nauru Treasury Fund confirmed and requested.
The required contribution is paid to the Nauru Treasury Fund. Funds directly support the Higher Ground Initiative, renewable energy infrastructure, climate adaptation, and national development programmes across Nauru.
The Oath of Allegiance may be taken online via audio-visual link, before a notary public or authorised oath-taker in any jurisdiction worldwide, or optionally in person in Nauru. VIMB coordinates all scheduling and logistics.
The Nauru citizenship certificate and passport are issued and delivered to the client and all approved family members at their preferred address. Your 10-year adult passport is valid from the date of issue.
