Vanuatu citizenship by investment is a government-authorized program that grants second citizenship and a Vanuatu passport in exchange for a qualifying financial contribution. VIMB offers two routes: the CIIP (from USD 115,000, plus a USD 50,000 redeemable investment) and the DSP (from USD 137,000). Both are fully remote and typically completed in 80–90 days with no requirement to visit Vanuatu.

No. The entire process is fully remote. No travel to Vanuatu is required at any stage. Biometric data — including fingerprints and facial recognition — can be collected at government authorized centres in Dubai, Hong Kong, and Port Vila, Vanuatu.

The CIIP includes a USD 50,000 redeemable investment component directed to Vanuatu's leading investment fund (The Vanuatu Impact Fund).
