Vanuatu Citizenship Application Process

Service Agreement & First Stage Documents
Service agreement signing, first stage document collection, and initial fees requested.

FIU Due Diligence Checks
First stage due diligence checks conducted by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).

First Stage Due Diligence Approval
Formal approval of the first stage due diligence review by the relevant authority.

Second Stage Documents & Submission
Second stage document collection and submission to the Vanuatu Citizenship Commission Office. Citizenship fees requested.

Citizenship Commission Meeting & Screening
Meeting and formal screening by the Citizenship Commission Office.

Bank Clearance of Funds
Bank clearance of the required funds, conducted concurrently with Step 6.

Citizenship Approval, Certificate Printing & Oath of Allegiance
Official citizenship approval is granted and certificates are printed by the Citizenship Commission. The formal Oath of Allegiance ceremony is then administered as part of the naturalisation process.

Biometric Data Collection
Biometric data — including fingerprints and facial recognition — is collected at a VIMB-supported collection centre. Collection centres are available in Dubai, Hong Kong, and Port Vila, Vanuatu for your convenience.

Passport Issuing & Distribution
Vanuatu passport issued and distributed to the applicant and eligible family members.
