Vanuatu will participate in Dubai Expo 2020 as a way to raise the profile of the country. The event was meant to take place from October 2020, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions it was postponed, and it is now scheduled to take place between October 2021 and April 2022.
It is not the first time that Vanuatu is part of an event of this kind, but what makes this news so potentially rewarding for the country is that this time Vanuatu will be able not only to showcase its products, but to sell them during the Dubai Expo 2020.
This represents a great opportunity to spread the word about Vanuatu to the international community in order to attract tourists and potential investors that could be interested in the Vanuatu DSP in order to obtain the Vanuatu Citizenship.
The main goal of their participation in the event is to boost the country’s economy, which is the reason why six local companies will be part of it: Vanuatu Handicraft, Fine Foods, Tanna Coffee, Vanuatu Bijouterie and ACTIV.
Each of these companies is manufacturing their products specifically for Dubai Expo 2020 and they are planned to be sent there in March. These entrepreneurs are eager to be part of this event that is set to host millions of people coming from all over the world.
